As promised, here are a couple of photos of the outcome. I left everything natural throughout the summer....no watering, no thinning....and here is Mulligan displaying the result:
There's something about sunflowers that just make me feel good.

how cute. Sunflowers are just 'happy' flowers. Did you know they always face the direction of the sun?
