B.A.R.K. needs your help

B.A.R.K. (Bytown Association for Rescued Kanines) is a registered charity based in Ottawa, Ontario. We have supported BARK for years, and our Mulligan is a BARK rescue dog.

BARK needs your help. (check out full details on their website www.bark-ottawa.com) A beautiful 7 month old Rottweiler pup named Marcus has just been rescued and has lots of problems. He had been left outside in the brutal cold for weeks. He was not walking very well and x-rays revealed that Marcus has loose hips from lack of exercise, the muscles are starting to atrophy. This can be corrected over time with a strict regime of exercise and good diet.

What they cannot fix with love and proper care is his right elbow. He has classic OCD (floating bone fragment) which requires an expensive surgery. This is a very painful condition, and he is on a good pain control medication until he can build up his weight and strength. This gives BARK time to fundraise for the surgery.
